She walked the official red carpet so fast to escape cameramen and paparazzi from taking her pictures.

’76’ wins five awards at AMVCA 2017 [See full list of winners]

The movie, ’76, which was directed by Izu Ojukwu, emerged the biggest winner at this year’s The Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA).

The event was held at the Convention Centre of the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos on Saturday.

Actress Funke Akindele also won two awards, while the Trailblazer Award went to Somkele Iyamah-Idhalama and Chika Okpala aka Chief Zebrudaya took home the Industry Merit Award.

Funmibi:- My name, Olowoyeye Funmibi. From Ekiti state, Efon Alaaye to be precise. A graduate of the university of Ado Ekiti now known as Ekiti State University (studied Linguistics and Nigerian Languages) Born and lived all life in Lagos State Nigeria.

Simplymhoses:-  How did you discover your musical talent

Funmibi:- For me music has been part of me since my early life.I started singing at the age of six.I discovered that in the Sunday School class what is now known as teenagers class, I so much love to lead the choir anytime we are to present in the adult church. I think it all started from there.Then when I graduated to secondary school (Which happens to be a boarding school) in my third year I was automatically made the choir leader for 4years before moving to the university which gave me the wider opportunity to develop my skills and the platform to really bless souls.

Simplymhoses:- At what point did you decide to do music professionally

Funmibi:- I started music professionally since 2004 (13 years )

Simplymhoses:- Considering the massive competition in the mainstream, how ready are you to make your entrance into the music scene a lasting one

Funmibi:- My song delves into the praise (and worship) of God and cast and unflinching eye at the realities faced by people. I believed also with my rich and sonorous voice no mountain is too high and no valley is too low to cross. Am breaking without any obstruction by God's grace.

Funmibi:- Be focus and determined, and don't forget that in life money is not everything. Be good and nice to everyone you meet on your way to the top, never under rate anyone. Most importantly put God first in everything and make Humility your watchword.
